"I joined the Amazon24 Strength & Conditioning Programme to get fit and change my body shape. I'm getting married in Portugal in next year so thought I'd get a head start getting in shape for the wedding.
I really enjoyed all of the sessions and seeing the progress as my weights were going up. It was great having a regular routine to stick to as well.
I'm so pleased with the end results! It has really given me the motivation to keep it up. My body shape has changed, I feel better in my clothes and mentally I am so much better with my eating habits and making better choices.
I would 100% recommend Mel and Amazon24 Fitness. I was really apprehensive about signing up for the S&C Programme because I didn't feel like I knew what I was getting into, but I'm so pleased that I did. Mel is a great coach and all the other girls were great too. We were all there for the same reasons so straight away had something in common ... and had fun along the way!"

"I decided to join Amazon24’s 8-week Strength & Conditioning programme as I felt I needed a boost to help me push harder to make changes in my diet, to give me an extra push with my fitness.
I put on nearly 5 stone after having children and so I really wanted to get my body back in shape as much as I could. I didn’t want to just join another slimming group as I have done for most of my life; I wanted to make a lifestyle change this time and also do exercises to help change my body shape.
Mentally the way I think about food has totally changed; I now don’t walk into a shop and head straight to the fat cola, chocolate or cakes. I now walk out of the shop with a bottle of water and a banana!!! I am also feeling so much more confident in my own skin and not avoiding the mirror.
How I think about working out now has totally changed too; before I thought running on the treadmill was the best option for losing weight but since taking part in Mel's 8-week S&C programme, I head straight to the weights! I have really enjoyed the sessions with the weights. There were, of course, some moves that I would dread but I always felt such an achievement after each class.
My husband and children are now enjoying my delicious healthy meals and I will certainly be carrying on cooking them!
I will definitely continue with PowerWave and FitClub. At some point next year I would like to fit in some PT sessions with Mel too!
I have met some really nice people along my journey with the 8-week programme and all that attend the classes are a great bunch!"

"I joined Amazon24's Strength & Conditioning Programme as I turned 40 and didn’t look or feel the way I wanted to. I was considering signing up with a slimming club but I knew that whenever I have tried these in the past, the results had always been fairly short term and I hadn’t felt that I had the support I necessarily needed. I wanted to lose weight, get fitter and have a healthier diet – but most of all it had to be something long term that suited me and my family.
Since beginning Mel's programme I've lost 17lbs in weight and lots of inches from my body, the most notable being 10cm from my waist!
There have been many other benefits; for example, the nutritional advice has helped me understand what I am eating. I have made healthy changes that can be maintained long term while not being reliant on a points system, the 'colour' of a day or counting calories. My family have also benefitted from these healthy swaps – my Fiancé has lost over a stone in the same timeframe just through following the nutritional advice from Mel! My children have also been brave and tried lots of new foods such as wholemeal pasta, dates, sweet potatoes and oat cakes!
The other benefits I have noticed is that I have more energy during the day and I’m sleeping better at night! I also feel happier in myself because I know I have made such a positive change to my lifestyle!
I will definitely carry on with S&C and Mel’s classes - for me this is the start of a long term journey. The best bit is knowing that I have the support of Mel and the rest of the S&C ladies that I have been lucky enough to train with! I cannot recommend this programme highly enough – thanks Mel!"

"I joined the 8 week S&C Programme as I needed to lose weight and the gym just wasn't making it happen. I'd joined classes at the gym too but gave those up after a few weeks as most of the girls that joined didn't seem really friendly which put me off a bit. Originally I was going to go for Personal Training with Mel but when I was told about the 8 week program 3 times a week, I thought it sounded more what I needed. I was a bit worried at first about being in a group but the other girls were really nice and chatty, the complete opposite to the gym classes which made everything that bit easier.
It was a bit of a shock to the system at first; I'd never even picked up a weight before! Once everything was explained and I was shown what to do using the correct techniques, I found it really fun and the girls were really supportive of each other.
You get homework and meal plans which was great, you don't just get forgotten about after each session. If you need to know something Mel would answer you ASAP. As the sessions go on you feel yourself getting stronger and wanting to try to go heavier. The HIIT session that we would have once a week was fun and if you were struggling Mel would be pushing you on to push yourself to the end.
My body shape has changed a lot since the programme finished, I've cancelled my gym membership and join the other ladies for Mel's classes during the week. I want to do more lifting wise as I'd love to get stronger and see how far I could go. I'm in a much happier place as I can finally see and feel changes which will only get better by carrying on.
I've already recommended Mel to 2 friends and also my mum, who is joining the classes with me!"
